retirment is overrated · 9:02pm Aug 14th, 2019
So I was at the final bronycon a week ago and I gotta say, seeing th fandom is just as passionate about this humble show that first showed up a decade ago, and that theres still a love for both it and the works of so many creative people, ive decide to get back in the writing game. I went on a hiatus a while back thinking that with the show at its end (this incarnation of it anyway) and the last bc being held, I felt like maybe it was time to close up shop and look for something else to do, but when I realized that for every ending theres a new beggining, and at the con there was a panel called, "It's in our hooves now." A francishe is only as big as it's fandom makes it, and the brony fandom have in many regaurds become this generations trekies or whoovians, and like them there where peiods of time where offical material was almost non existant, so its up to us to fill in the gaps until something comes along.
I'm gonna try and get back into the swing of things and write as much i did when i first started, and as for the future of the show and the series itself, I'm looking forward to G5 when/if it comes, and hopefully that'll be soon and until its here I"m gonna contribute to keeping the buzz for this franchise strong, even if i am just one writer.
That's very good to hear. Happy to have you back in the game!
