When muses strike... · 9:22pm Aug 12th, 2019
I'd like to apologize to some friends for disappearing the last few days. But I had my muse strike and strike hard. The subject? Not one of my regular stories, but instead, the second book of my anthro adult novel series which I'd been neglecting for the past two years. After letting it languish so long, I've sudden written two entire chapters on it in the space of a week. Here's the first book:
Those of you who follow Firefly may recall that one of the more popular bit characters I introduced during that series was Kamilya Ampok, a former gryphon commander arrested for disobeying orders she thought were dishonorable and unjust. She is in fact based on the protagonist of my novels, a lioness named Kamilya Kampo. The series is very adult--it's my usual mixture of worldbuilding/character development in addition to plenty of M-rated action, set around the athletic faculty of an involuntarily integrated high school and Kamilya coming on staff for it, finding herself with same-sex and different species attractions for the first time.
I don't know how many of you are into anthro outside of ponies, but I need some prereaders for it. And that's the reason I'm tagging Midnight Rising in this blog post--I figure this audience is the most likely to contain those who might be interested. It doesn't have the magical angle that Unleash the Magic does, as it takes place on basically an alternate present-day version of Earth, but it does have a lot of varied interspecies action, ranging from F/F to M/F to even a bit of M/M and hints of teacher/student. So there's something in there for everyone.
In short, I'm looking for at least 3-4 people who enjoy the adult anthro genre, who can edit and give good feedback. Reading of the original novel (which I should probably give a fresh editing pass to) will be a prerequisite, but for prereaders, I can order copies cheaply.
If you're interested, let me know in the comments or by PM.
Huh. I'm assuming that's a fake name.
Awesome! :3
