    Seashell paperback incoming!

Once again, the proof copy is out for delivery right now.

The hardcover edition proof copy turned out great - some text mistakes to fix, but no printing errors that aren't mine! Lulu can print a book to specifications! Yay!

    Seashell: getting closer to print!

Here's where we are on the Seashell print book:
83 pages all told, including front matter and a preface. 75 of them so far are story. Anticipating about 10-20 more pages to be finished. Almost there!
Cover's done (for the hardcover edition dust-jacket, at least, will probably have to be redone for the paperback but whatever).

My BronyCon Experience... · 1:52am Aug 8th, 2019

...is forthcoming.

In the tradition of Novel Idea's EFNW recaps, I want to do more of a detailed breakdown and reflection on each day, rather than a single whirlwind tour. I think that's the best way to capture and convey (as much as is really possible) the whole four-day glorious spectacle and pandemonium that was the grand finale of the legendary BronyCon.

Needless to say, these things take time to write.
Some of what there is to look forward to, though, to whet appetites:
- Rushing to get into an airplane with mere moments to spare!
- Meeting horsefamous authors!
- Writing stories on old-school typewriters!
- Panels!
- Autographs!
- Tales from Linecon while trying to get to panels and autographs!
- An unforgettable closing ceremony, the final message of BronyCon, and what that means to me.
- And more!™

Day 0 coming soon is here: Day -??? to 0
Day 1

I'm about in the same boat, tbh. Usually my post-con wrap up posts are compact and direct, but this time, I feel like that would not do the past weekend enough justice.

If you could post an alternate writeup about how awful it was and you wish you hadn't wasted your time, I'm sure those of us that didn't go would really appreciate it! :fluttercry:

I wish I could do day-by-day posts; short of taking notes during the con there's no way I can keep it all that straight :ajsleepy:

Same here. For that reason I've taken to typing up notes in the evenings before bed. Not full essays, but enough to jog my befuddled brain later.
