Not super feeling it right now, guys. Got a meeting this late afternoon/evening and another tomorrow morning, involving co-workers, a performance review and a meeting about our current product. (The performance review should, honestly, be fine, but that's not going to stop me from worrying.)
I could have typed stuff during the con, but, well - it was a wonderful convention and i want to gush about it later.
Speaking of gushing, the reason why i didn't start typing up stuff as soon as i got home on thursday afternoon was because basically every single major appliance in my apartment broke down while i was away. We're talking fridge, toilet, piping for water, vents having a lower drawn than usual, just everything.
I've been alternating between cleaning frantically, filing maintenance requests to the apartment over new problems, desperately trying to distract myself because i can't handle the thought of doing any more cleaning and getting the shivers. As of right now, I think the toilet and refrigerator are working again, so i'll count those as small mercies. I spent a lot of time mopping and lost a lot of paper towel, toilet paper and groceries in the process, but at least it's not a total loss.
I'm looking forward to a nice, long shower, some fresh clothes and loud music to distract me from all of it.
So, yeah, funny stuff will come later in the week, I promise.

A refrigerator, a working toilet and a dry, clean place to live are rather essential these days. Sorry you're have a rough patch of luck but it sounds as though it's getting better. Do take care. Look forward to your thoughts on BronyCon.
