August Outlook: TLaTU revamp and Firefly · 6:18pm Aug 2nd, 2019
Just wanted to let everyone know that in the first half of the month, I'm going to start a revamp of The Lawyer and The Unicorn, giving it the same attention and treatment I gave Turnabout Storm last year. That means edits, cleanup, fixes, and even the possibility of some new content.
I don't have any solid plans for it right now save that I'm going to attempt to sanitize the T-rated version a bit more after getting some recent criticism on it. The M-rated version is what it is--part high-stakes Ace Attorney case and part crossover clopfic--though I may try to address some concerns I've heard. I'm not ultimately changing its essence, because I simply like the way it turned out.
In the second half of the month, I'll be returning to Into the Storm: The Flight of Firefly in advance of the September 1st two-year anniversary of the story, with some scene-setting and transition chapters before we hit the next phase of the story. Among other things, it'll be time for both sides to lick their wounds and check in with the bat-ponies to see how they react to news of the Gryphon invasion.
And lest I forget... for those of you haven't heard, I released a new story last night--one inspired by the HBO series Chernobyl. Set in the Phoenixverse, I ask a simple question: what would happen if, on a future visit to Earth, Celestia decided to take Twilight to Chernobyl without telling her why or what happened there, wanting her to deduce the story on her own?
How would Twilight react? And what would Celly's purpose be in bringing her there? Here's the answer:
EDIT: I neglected to mention that Leo Archon has already started into the next Firefly chapter, so it is possible that even without my efforts, one could come to fruition sooner rather than later. Thanks, Leo!
What Firesight isn't mentioning is that I've already begun work on the next chapter, writing a scene where Royal Naval Battle Group Capricorn and its passengers receive new orders.

With apologies, you are quite correct. I neglected to mention that and I should have. I've added an edit to that effect in the blog post.
Write on and revise on friend :)
