Quick Celestia XVII Update--And A Request! · 2:59am Jul 27th, 2019
HI everyone! Just a quick update, and a quick question:
I'm rapidly closing in on finishing a completed draft of Celestia XVII-2! Only three or four more side-chapters to fill in the gaps, then it'll be time for copy-editing! Yay! Shoutout to Crack-Fic Kai for his help in alpha-reading--I wouldn't be this far without his help!
However, you'll notice a slight problem: though I'm close to finishing, I still have those three or four chapters. To be honest, I'm not sure what to do for those. Still brainstorming, still going to look for gaps that need to be filled, and so on--but, at present, I'm a little stuck.
So, here's where you can help: given that this story takes place about three years after Celestia XVII, and is set approximately during season 2 of the show, which pony/ies would you like to hear from? Who deserves a little more fleshing-out, in your mind? Who got overlooked or short-changed last time around that needs a voice?
[Pre-vetoed: Spike, Moondancer, Sunset Shimmer, Cadance. They're already taken care of.]

I feel like Cece and Applejack could really relate to one another. Both had huge responsibilities forced upon them when their parents passed, and both are also quite close with Twilight. They could also find common ground in their dislike of high society (Applejack through her time with the Oranges in Manehattan, and Cece through her interaction with Luna and the other Canterlot nobility).
Positive family bonding with Luna is always welcome. And I dunno if they count, but the historical Celestia-princesses and Luna’s thoughts on her daughter would be nice.
I think Big Mac would be interesting to see the point of view from. His sister is an Element bearer and Luna did live close by for a bit and was friends with Granny Smith.
Another vote would be Vinyl Scratch. She is a fan favorite and I can see Cece going clubbing as she looks for a potential mate.
So we are limited to characters in the Ponyville area?
I would say Mac for at least one of the side chapters, as was mentioned by other responders.
And, yeah, I COULD see Cece and AJ really relating to one another as well.
