UPDATE: Everything V.2 · 3:32am Jul 25th, 2019
Hello everyone, Erina Shindou here. Or as you can all refer to me now Maxine Fowl.
The past year, well it's hurt. I came out to my parents which ended mostly in misery. And not only a week later my grandfather, the only father figure in my life, was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I tried and struggled to return to my writing multiple times. I'll be the first to admit that it all still hurts. And as we approach the anniversary of my grandfather's diagnosis I find myself coming back to my writing for the first time in a year.
So where does all of this leave me? Well, that's a good question. I'm fresh out of high school. Applying for jobs like any other adult. And believe you me I'm looking at writing more things. As we speak I have the blueprints for A Place That We Call Home chapter three two tabs over at the moment. Even now it's getting liked at by everyone under the sun. From my spectacular significant other to my more than amazing sisters. (That's right, I've got more than just the one.)
So what ended up bringing me back? Well, early this morning (early being relative). I checked my fimfic as I've been trying to get back into the habit of doing. And in my notifications bar I saw something amazing. Someone had left a comment on Follow You Down. Now, at first I was genuinely confused. Upon checking I found an amazing comment from user: Agent Fluffy saying she had a made an audio reading of Follow You Down on Youtube. I was truly excited about my writing for the first time in the past year.
And here's the link to that audio reading:

Where does all this ranting leave me? Well, hopefully this means that I'll be making a more productive return to the fanfiction writing community here on fimfic. Thank you to anyone who reads this and thank you to everyone of the people who has read and supported me here on this site.
With a heavy heart,
Maxine Fowl
Sorry to hear about all the hardship you had to go through. Hope things go up from here.
Like vel said, shame that you had to go through that, but I’m glad you’re taking it in stride and setting goals. I’m sure you gonna do great !!
