It's fair to say I've not kept up well at all with Fimfiction for a few months. Much of this has been to do with Real Life -- nothing really terrible, just a lot of things that required attention. I managed to keep the Flashfic 150 contests going, but they only need me to check in a few times a month. I'm acutely conscious that in slipping away for a bit, I've failed to keep up with a few people's PMs. They know who they are, I'm sure. I will try to get back to those, though I can't promise to do so instantly.
What I really needed was a catalyst to get back writing again. With that in mind, I'd like to think Super Trampoline for setting up the Fimfiction Feghoot Festival -- which, had I been active here recently, I'm sure I would have mentioned before its last few hours! Its rules allow three entries per person (within a total word count) and I've maxed out with two standalones and one shortfic. I'll talk about the specifics of my stories at a later date, after the contest has been judged. (This will be in the next few weeks, I believe.)
At any rate, I'm back. And I really, really don't intend it to be another three months before my next update!
Welcome back! (Note: I've been writing ponyfic for about seven years now. It's such a habit that if I *stop* for a day or two, the pressure builds up and I have to pencil and paper my ideas down before my head explodes :)

Thanks! As it happens, writing at least a little ponyfic every day is what I intend to do from now on. Even if it's just 100 words of nonsense that nobody but me ever sees. Apart from anything else, after so long away I need the practice!
