So I'm seventeen, now. · 9:05pm Jul 14th, 2019

This is kinda weird .

My birthday was actually yesterday (the 13th) but ya girl was busy doing stuff with her family lol. I don't have anything sappy or sentimental like I did last year when I turned sixteen, but there's not much weight in being seventeen, I guess. It's a weird number . I guess for me, it's just wrapping my head around the fact that I'm graduating this coming school year and am that much closer to college. Which, is honestly not that huge for me, at least not yet. I've been preparing for college for literally years, having been thinking about career choices, schools, payment plans, and job opportunities and plans before, during, and after college, for I don't even know how long. I started thinking about it back in middle school, but of course, I only increased in my planning and took it much more seriously come high school. I feel pretty secure and prepared now, but come fall when the school year starts and I'm counting the days, I'm about ninety percent sure I'm gonna have another existential crisis .

Progress on "One of the Guys" is coming along nicely. I started my summer internship last week and I have another two weeks of it, so my work time has decreased a little bit, but it's being worked on slowly. It'll be fun once the ball starts rolling with the story, Rainbow and her brothers are a pretty diverse bunch. I'll make sure to update you guys once I start posting the new chapters.
