Hey all
Just thought I'd give you a quick update since I haven't posted a new chapter in a while.
I am still working on Allegiances, I swear! I wouldn't just leave Dust and Co at this point in their tale.
Yes, writing has been slower than I would like. Unfortunately, as everyone knows, life gets in the way sometimes. Between illnesses, injuries, work, and other things, I just haven't been able to do as much writing as I would like.
Fortunately, summer brings a huge slowdown in all my other endeavors. Since I am a teacher, I have summers "off" (if you don't count three part time jobs 
). And to top it all off, I had to write a curriculum for a new course being offered at the school at which I teach. But that is coming to an end and I will have LOADS of more time to write.
We are reaching the final confrontation between Dust and Muddy soon. There are probably only going to be a handful of chapters left. Of course I say that now, and watch ten more chapters come out... but I don't think that's likely.
Thank you all for being patient and I promise you'll see something relatively soon!

I was going to shoot you a message earlier today actually, but kinda lost track of time. Good to hear that things are winding down for now though! And as for the idea of ten more chapters coming, I dunno, it's fairly easy to have a story get away from you! Believe me!
