    incredibly sick

haven't been able to hit the computer much the past month. Got sick on labor day weekend, ended up with a bad case of pneumonia deep in my lungs. Despite it, I've been forcing myself to go to work overtime because... well, bills need to be paid.

I haven't disappeared, but I'm healing. be back soon, promise.

    Child rearing is oftentimes unpredictable.

TLA has only been delayed as I cannot access my files from where I am or when I'm home because of small children. Not mine, yet I suppose, but the little ones take a lot of time and attention and love. And food. So much food. My nieces are garbage disposals.

That was an Adventure through the Comics. TLA incoming.

Hey folks, just finished up a grand majority of the comics, and there was only one big plot point that rubbed up super hard against the story, so once I swap it out it'll be fine. I'll even drop off exactly what it was in the authors notes when it comes up and is no longer relavant to keep from you. Lucky me the plot didn't hinge on it(anymore- it was something important before but I minimized it

    Dude, where's my blogpost?

I made a blogpost on Friday talking about delaying the chapter a week while I catch up on pony lore in the comics, mainly because there's three things I want to do and I straight up don't want to do something that clashes entirely with what's going on with the characters.

If you've read The Literary Appeal, you may or may not want to again real soon. · 6:49am Jul 5th, 2019

So here's the deal. I've had surgery recently and I've found myself with a lot of free time as I'm not allowed to go back to work until the end of the month. So I'm going to finish The Literary Appeal. The goal is to finish it this month.

Like Finish It, finish it. Like, I've recreated the outline and am pinging my pony friends to help me reel in any relevant pony information I've missed from not watching the show. It's been a lot of rewriting and I've deleted the chapters I didn't post/finish in order to reign in the massive beast. But in order for some things to reach a conclusive end, other things need to be changed or sacrificed.

Over the next week, I'll be editing lines and whole chapters that have already been posted to line up with the arc of the story and the ending I want to tell. So if you liked The Literary Appeal, now's a good time to re-read it. Or, if, considering it's been seven years, you don't have strong memories of the fic, perhaps now is the time to not revisit until July 10th, when the edited chapters will all go up. There will not be massive rewrites, however some scenes and especially plot points will be revised and some, reversed. I'm still on the fence about revising or completely rewriting chapters 15 and 16. I don't want to make more work for myself but, irregardless, changes are coming. Some are already done on my GDocs.

Yes it's been seven years.

Yes it's a fic stationed squarely in the Post Season 2 and Pre Season 3. No Twilicorn(at least not until late in the fic to show time has passed).

I have been listening to Game Grumps Remixes from that time period to put me in the mood. It's been... eerily helpful.

I've made promises in the past and they didn't come to fruition, but I'm putting my foot down here. Work has been done. A LOT. I may not even be considered a brony anymore, but by god... by the Sisters I have dealt with myself never finishing large projects and leaving them to sit, and this is one of the big projects of my life that I've always regretted never finishing. It's... a catalyst. And I need this project to mean something different for me.

Hope the two of you still around for this will enjoy the ride.

:yay: I literally just read this story last month, glad to hear that you're doing some more on it.

Well, holy shit. It's still sitting in my "favorite now, and also download the epub when it's done" folder. Glad to see one of my old faves rescued off the "will never be finished" pile!

AKA best fic era, to go with best show era. :trollestia:

suddenly, Hids is just here :O

Fantastic news! This has been sitting in my 'read it latter' box for ages hoping it would be up dated and finished.

I will always cheer for another completed story in my libraries. Hm, guess I would need to brush up on stuff, so I will wait for the updated chapters.

I'll wait for the changes and I'll gladly reread it then :)

I had completely forgotten about this and then I clicked on the link to see the story and it all rushed back and I am now very excited. Good luck finishing this!
