What Should I Do About My Story? · 11:54pm Jun 16th, 2019
I’ve been working on I’ll Get The Job Done for 2 plus years for now, in which case my writing style has drastically improved from such. The beginning of the IGTJD story during what I consider the Erebus saga has some bizarre moments and writing, while I believe I could do better in terms of an antagonist, better representing Nick as a character and the relationships he has, I’m not sure. People really enjoy this story, even if it’s only 3,000, I just...I’m not entirely sure what I should do.
Part of me wants to continue and clean up the mess I made with my new writing strategies, maybe get an editor to assist me in making my stories more professional and potentially advertise it so that IGTJD isn’t sailing by with barely a hundred views per chapter. I understand my story isn’t anywhere near as iconic as the heavy hitters of Displaced, and nowhere close to the story that inspired me to make mine in the first place of And Then There Were 10, er...67, so. I ask. Should I reboot my story and attempt to start over?
Or should I keep it going, work with someone to make it seem more professional and such to help with such an problem? I’d like some public input, but. I’ll hopefully decide soon..thank you.
