If you even mildly like adventure games, get this one! NOW!

How awesome is this game? Well, check out the intro.

Yes, that is Christopher Lloyd playing an animator.

Getting chewed out by his boss, Ben Stein.

Only to end up sucked inside his most shameful creation, The Fluffy, Fluffy Bun-Bun Show, wherein he's saved by his other, much more personally beloved & zany comedy creation, played by Dan Castellante (read: Homer Fucking Simpson for you non-animation fans).

Wherein he meets King Hugh, played by David Ogden Stiers. (Jumba, from Lilo & Stitch, among many other Disney roles.)

And all that? That is just the all-star cast you get to meet in the intro.

And Doctor Nefarious, the mentioned but not shown evil tyrant genius? Played by Tim Curry.

Yes, that Tim Curry.

(Legend, by the way, as far as movies go, but I first noticed his amazing work in the Gabriel Knight series.)

This game is just shockingly star studded, is what I'm trying to say. Almost a who's-who of late 90's animation & game voice acting with some genuine house-hold names sprinkled atop.

Honestly, this game is great. Had it released in the internet age where word of mouth was more of a thing, I have no doubt we'd all be playing Toonstruck 5 by now.

But, alas... it went into stores in 1996 with barely any hype, press, and—insult to injury, this cover:

Yeah... Really doesn't look nearly as cool, does it?

Anyway, be sure to go get this one! It's just a great little gem of a forgotten game, and well worth a play-through!

As a bonus, the creator, Keith Arem, has been trying for years and years to get a sequel made for this, so hey, any press can only help, right?

Offer valid until Sunday the 16th.

The barn, just, the barn.

My favorite story moment is alas a huge spoiler. King sized, even, if you catch my drift.

But yeah, the barn was just all-round great too.

That parts great too, it had such heart for a game of its time.

Yeah.

Know a lot of time has passed, with more then one of the actors having passed on or retired even, but I do genuinely hope Keith Arem manages to scrape up enough money & gets to do that dream sequel of his one of these days.

Just one of those game that deserved much better then it actually got, you know?

Question: The first thing I know Tim Curry from is McHale's Navy. What does that say about me?

A fine taste for all things... nautical?

Joking aside, never seen that one but it sounds like a fun little train-wreck of a movie from my one minute glance over at IMDB & Metacritic. Not every feature that can fail at even winning a Razzie, after all.
