Hey all!
As promised, I have a sneak peek from The Sequel! You can find it below! I can't wait to show you all the finished product! If you don't want to read the sneak peek, and just surprise yourself, I have aptly applied a spoiler mask to it!
Starlight woke in a cold sweat. She looked left, right, up and down, but everything was different than what she was used to. For starters, there was a bed canopy, and there was a large window off to her right and behind her. Normally there was a wall there, but it was open. The unfamiliar surroundings however, were not the cause of her fears. She had been trapped in a nightmare. It was so bad that the princess of the night had not been able to pay a visit. She ran over the dream in her head again, hoping that everything she saw actually was just a nightmare, and not reality.
Celestia had told her that she would be moving across Equestria back to her old town to formally rule as a princess, but with that order came another set of instructions. She was to remain in her little slice of Equestria unless told others. Essentially, Celestia had trapped her in a remote part of Equestria. Worse yet, her magic had been limited while at the town, meaning she could only perform basic tasks.
Starlight, after finally calming down a bit realized that the whole situation in her nightmare was never going to happen. She had been informally crowned just the day before, and knew Celestia better than that. Sure, maybe that had been a scenario before she she changed years ago, but now, the idea seemed ridiculous. Furthering her idea that the nightmare was just her overreacting to nerves, was the fact that Starlight could fur next to her, and it wasn't her own. She looked down to see that she had slept in the same bed as Twilight last night.
Everything came flooding back to her. First the celebration, then the after-party. She and Twilight had confessed their feelings for each other. Nerves made themselves know once again because Starlight was now worried about what her future as a princess would mean for her friendships. Would she be able to see them again? Would they miss her if she had to go off somewhere else? Are she and Twilight dating now?
The last question set off something inside of Starlight and she just smiled. Then she laid down and put her hoof around Twilight, getting a hum of satisfaction from both parties. She was being irrational. Nopony was going to jeopardize her happiness now. Everything was finally falling into play for her, and somehow, Starlight just knew that her life was on the right track. Good friends, the title of Princess, and the possibility of a Marefriend. What was not to like?
Thoughts of how wonderful her future might be filled her head. She relaxed and her smile widened. Her mind filled with nothing but happiness as she fell back into a deep sleep, holding Twilight Sparkle in her hooves.Starlight knew that everything was going to be just fine.
Hm, this is not a bad sneak peak, I only noticed one thing wrong and that was a missing n in the word known.

Yea, the preview I posted wasn't proofread yet. I went back to make sure everything was edited and correct. I noticed it myself shortly after I posted this, so it was at the top of my to do list.
