Can you believe that I've spent over a quarter of my life on this site? I know I can't.
So obviously, I like to do some fun things on my anniversary, and today, I decided to update some long-untouched works of mine, including one of my earlier stories, Sparké, which has not seen an update in almost-exactly four and a half years, and is now suddenly completed.
The story behind that:
I did think of extending the story beyond that chapter, but I had trouble thinking of where to take the story from there. At the same time, I had just started two jobs out of college, and my interest of the show (and thusly writing) had started to wane at that point, I really didn't do much in the way of regular writing until March of 2017 when I did my Pokémon crossover. Around that time too, I did think about going back to Sparké, but when I looked back on it, I realized that I didn't have much of a story to continue at that point. I mean, we know about Peter's time in Equestria as a kid, we learn about the relationships he's made that brought him back, and now, not only has he fully acclimated himself into Equestria and made it his home, he now has his restaurant which just had its wildly successful first night.
Everything that he spent the entire story trying to get has now been gained. Where do you really go past that point?
That's not to say that the world of Sparké has to come to an end. If I don't decide to write a one-off or two detailing pieces of Peter's life in Equestria either during that five year gap or after that, I would invite anyone who wishes to see more write their own takes of what would happen during those periods. This was simply a way to provide closure on a story that I admit I've sat on unfinished for far too long.
For the Letters From a Friend readers, I've also decided to put some more time into this story. Some ideas for other stories I was planning on writing are kind of stuck in limbo, and I'm really not writing much except for the on-off trollfic, so I figured it would only be fair to focus some energy into a story that people actually care about. Hoping to make more updates soon, but I figured this three-chapter release would be the very least of a compensation for your patience.
But yeah, it's been a wild seven years, and I'm interested to see what the rest of my future on this site will be! Thanks for all the support through all of it!
What a wild ride, I finally get to enjoy the completed story of Sparke. Good job man!

What a treat, Sparké was one of my favorite stories on this site back in the day, being a huge food nerd and all.
Seeing it come to completion is something I didn't think would happen.
It'll be fun giving this a re-read after 4 long years.

The Yu gi oh. Crosover stories are my favorite. one that You mke But Sorry. The one got canceled. But. Still they still amazing. Also the other stories are greats too im wish you could make more stories and crosovers too
