Three Stories that I Took Up Editing · 9:05pm May 19th, 2019
In place of a blog post I had recently deleted, I have decided to go ahead and show you all some stories that I took up editing a while back, each of which are ready for viewing.
I’ll be starting small by showing you guys this one-shot that I came across a while back.
Anon, somehow, was able to romantically court the princess of the sun herself, Celestia. During one quiet night at Canterlot castle, they decide for the first time to sleep together in the same bed, cuddling up to one another and saying sweet nothings into each other's ears.
There is also talk about themselves, the world around them, and the time they have spent with one another. It was a good night.
When I came across this one-shot, I couldn’t help but fall absolutely in love with it. However, I also thought that author Not Enough Coffee was slightly peppered by spelling and tense trouble, so...I stepped up as editor and was able to help the author correct these mistakes. I’m not exactly familiar with “Anon” or “RGRE” stories nor have I really gotten into any but this one, but, I thought it was a nice project to work with.

Deciding that life needs a change of pace, frog expert/Inventor Taddison Hopper moves to Ponyville for a new life with his intelligent pet frog, Theodore. Things are looking up for the pair, until Theodore falls in love. The problem however is...it's not with another frog. It’s with the neighborhood's apple farmer, Applejack. Things can only get crazier from here, with transformation experiments, Apple eating pests, and frog hunters. All in the name of love.
This story was written by my good pal, An Angry Green Boss.
The very moment I saw this story, I found it to be something extremely original and different compared to most other MLP fanfics around here. However, just like “The Little Things”, I felt that the story was too peppered by spelling and punctuation errors, and that it was shifting between present and past tense. So, I took up editing the story because I thought it was something that was definitely my type to be involved with.
Spencer is a regular human who is trying to get by in life and wants to become successful. However, when he is suddenly captured by the Storm King's minions and taken into his encampment, he will find his life much more challenging. However, he does get placed under the hot Lieutenant Tempest Shadow during his stay. He also gets to learn some interesting facts about the Lieutenant’s life.

Yes, I know, it is a rather unusual story for me to take up editing for. But, when I first saw it and started getting into it, I found myself wanting to work with the author as editor of the story. I was additionally surprised that no one was stepping up, so, I decided to be the one to do so.
I must warn you that there may be some things he put in, such as some slight cussing, that either managed to evade my radar or just got added by his own hands. But, I will say that things are coming along nicely, and at least the things that go against what I believe in aren’t entirely consistent. At the most, it’s at the level of a PG-13 film, like Marvel.

I don't know. I mean, the stories here aren't really picking up my interest, and further more, my tracking and read later lists are already pretty backed up. I'm considering taking a look at the one with the frog just because you recommended it, but no promises.
