I haven't even seen today's episode, so I don't know if it's as ship-wrecking as I think it may be from the summary.

I'm way too old to be surprised or dismayed when a show wrecks the best m/m ship seemingly at random, but DANG. I mean, come on, they've avoided doing any sort of serious pairing of the Main 6 for the entirety of the show. They couldn't do the same with the Young 6, and let us make up our own scenarios that still fell within canon? UGH.

Anyway, this is me today.

As much as I also greatly enjoy the concept of Gallbar as well, the episode was interesting... insofar as it was an very thinly-veiled homage/parody of My Fair Lady, anyway. ;) Still, though, I still enjoy your stories myself, so there you go.

Really glad you came out with a sequel to Involuntary, by the way; I actually went back and re-read it when I heard about it.

From an objective, non-shipper point of view, it was a decent episode. Exactly as described, a very thinly veiled My Fair Lade homage. Really, really glad you're enjoying my stories! I think I've grown a lot as an author in the last year, but I'm still really proud of I.V.

I thought Yonabar was handled a lot better than I expected it to be, but I was also super passionate about Gallbar. I was actually writing a story for them and everything, but by the first chapter She's All Yak discredited my story I'm not going to be comfortable with Yonabar if it kills Gallbar in the fandom for good.

The problem is that the first chapter, which was almost finished, was about how Sandbar would come out of the closet to Gallus by telling him he's gay. And a lot of the story revolved around that, or at least the first half did. Maaaaybe I could find some way to rewrite that first chapter and change elements in the story but I really don't know how yet.
Back when I was writing the chapter I didn't know why I couldn't get the guts to finish it. Then She's All Yak was announced and I realized it was my sixth sense stopping me from publishing it before the show would discredit it completely I've always had a bit of a sixth sense tbh.
