The First Day · 4:51am May 10th, 2019
What a day yesterday was! Despite being up 34 hours and only sleeping one, I remember it perfectly! After I got off the plane I had to run to get my luggage. Good thing, too. Because It almost went back through the little door on the way there. I caught it just in time. After that I lugged my suitcases to the bathroom and took a bathroom break before I sat down for a bit. I landed early, and Raevyn had to take some time to get her husband's sister to school. So I chilled and sat there until she said she was on her way. Then, when she said she was I went outside. When she got out that hug was the best hug ever. I’d been waiting for it for months. However brief it was, it was incredible. Once I was loaded up in the car, we went to the mall. Same one we went to last time. We got stuff at Boba Tea, and the cream puffs I got were awful, before we went to Claires. I got her a Minnie Mouse backpack and a sparkly fox wallet. After that we took a look in Hot Topic, where Raevyn found a cute tank top, and an Ursula themed bathing suit. A quick peek inside gamestop and we were off into Lush. It was good smelling there. After a few double backs, we went into Gemz, and I wanted to get a Himalayan salt lamp. But they’re like $25.00 and I wanted to get some more stuff, so I nixed it. After the mall we went to McDonalds to grab lunch and made a quick stop inside Wonderland to get coals so we could smoke some hookah. When we got back we ate our mcdonalds and discussed what to do for dinner. I was beat by that time, but I ultimately took a one-hour cat nap before getting up again. We hung out for two hours, before it was time for dinner. We decided on going to Chili’s. They have this 3 for $10.00 special going on, so it worked out. I had chips and salsa, water, and Cajun Chicken Pasta. It was delicious. And we got a skillet cookie to share. When we got home, we set up the hookah and smoked some rose flavored stuff and watched The Nun. It was wonderful. Then, with that, it was around ten and time for bed. I crashed pretty fast, but it was the perfect day.
