Was mostly spent in bed. I was sick all day and Sugarfoot was content to be wherever I was, for the most part.
She's pulling the whole "forgot how to be paper trained" shit on me, which is gonna get old fast if it doesn't get put a stop to. I'm also starting to see more of her personality, and Lord does this dog have personality.
The funniest thing, to me personally:
Sugarfoot is a rough little fart. She's 13 pounds of pure muscle with absolutely no regard for elegance. She loves to jump and has an impressive clearance, but her jumps have no grace to them--she CRASHES everywhere she goes. Jump up onto the bed? FULL POWER CRASH! Jump off my bed into HER bed? FULL POWER CRASH! Jump over the arm of the couch to land on the seat? FULL POWER CRASH!!
She also has a POWERFUL bark.
And then, of course, when she's being lazy-girl, she curls up somewhere and makes sure you can see the coy face she's giving you.
What is it they say, "100 pounds of bullshit in a 10 pound bag"? Yeah. XD
She sounds like a fun dog, hopefully she's just dealing with the disruptions to her life, and will resume her paper training soon. She might also have some trauma to work through, which will take time, effort, and consistency.
