Alrighty! I've begun work on this baby, though no worries I'm still working on Nightmare Before Nightmare Night. I just really wanted to get shit down before I start losing ideas. Anyway, tell me what you guys think, and if you have any cool images to use as the opener.
Dun Dun Dun
Across the galaxy, a civilization of ponies has been thriving in space for nearly two hundred years, them having long ago been taken from Equestria and placed upon a distant world by an ancient race. They have met many challenges, faced many foes, from hostile races to their own civil wars. But now, nature itself has sent them a curve ball, the one thing they can't beat: a black hole, hurtling towards their capital world populated by billions.
With no way to evacuate easily thanks to an old enemy blockading their system, and with no other option but to turn to faith, a cry for help is sent to the only ponies who they believe can defeat such a menace: the rumored gods of old, Princess Celestia and Luna, known in legend as the 'star movers'.
Now, is this a message sent in a bottle? A radio signal, perhaps? Nope! It's a Class-7 Stealth Frigate. And it's sent hurtling right towards Canterlot!
However, it's soon found out by our favorite royal princesses that it was not the intention of the supposed 'alien menace' to smash their starship into Main Street. For when teams are sent within it, it's determined that the entire crew was never woken from cryosleep due to an unforeseen glitch, and according to the ship's snarky AI, VLaDOS, the pods can never be opened without delicate repair operations.
However, the predicament of their home world is soon discovered, and taking it upon herself to save her distant kin, Princess Luna vows to discover how to use the ship and recruits a brave and daring crew to operate it. It consisting of the best Equestria has to offe-
Uhhhh, wait, that means Pinkie? Pinkie Pie on a starship? With all sorts of buttons and... stuff she should-
Oh my.
Yes, the Elements of Harmony are soon shanghaied into the expedition along with a number of other lovable characters, and when word quickly gets out that Equestria is about to undertake a voyage to the stars, international leaders soon pressure Princess Celestia to allow other races to join the crew as well.
How is the Princess of the Night somehow supposed to lead her crazy team of changelings, both crystal and regular ponies, griffins, and zebras into unfamiliar territory on an unfamiliar ship? Well, not even she knows. But she's damned sure she's about to try! Now, the stage is set for an epic science fiction journey across the cosmos, where the very limits of all aboard will be tested, and where discoveries will be made not just about the wonders of space, but the wonders of what lies within.
This is the voyage of the starship Nocturnal Thunder. Its mission to explore strange new worlds. To seek out new life and civilizations, and to save its maker's own. To boldly go where nopony has gone before!
Take a ride on the wild side, and push it to the limit!
Will insta-fav when it arrives.
