Welcome to my Commissioning Guidelines!

Thanks so much for being willing to have me write up your idea! I love telling stories of all kind and I've been doing it pretty much FOREVER! This is all kinda new to me, so let's just get right to the good stuff!

(Just so you know, right now this is still a work-in-progress, so some details may change! If it’s anything impacting you, I’ll let you know ASAP!)

My Rates:

$10 for 1,000 Words + $5 for every additional 500 words.
Note: My stories tend to be a minimum of 4,000-8,000 words.
At each progressive 250-word mark, I’ll round up to the next tier.
i.e. 4800 words will be $50, but 4600 will be $45.

Payment Details:

Half of the agreed on amount paid up front, half on completion. Any additional charges are paid with the final payment.
You can ask for a 1,000-word preview before the final payment. I get to decide what's previewed.
I only accept payment once I tell you I’m ready to start writing your story. I refuse to take your money unless I’m working on your thing! (Unless, you know, you just want to throw money at me for no reason. That's fine too.)
I may work on more than one story at a time, which might mean I finish a story that's after you in my queue. (But I'll never take more than two active commissions at a time).
You’re welcome to review and edit the story within reason before I put it up for the world to see!
I will do art trades under certain circumstances, message me for details!

Word Counts:

My primary goal is to tell a good story with great characters, not to perfectly match the word count. It’s common for my word counts to be longer than other authors. I’ll do my best to keep to your word and budget limits, but if the story needs more, I’ll let you know. My goal is to give you an awesome story!
Estimating word counts is a very inexact science Sometimes, there may be an additional charge if I feel the story needs to go longer than we talked about to have a satisfying ending.
If this happens, I’ll PM you through FimFiction and we can decide what to do from there.

Legal Stuff:

If you’re commissioning me, you’re presenting yourself as a legal adult (18 in the US, age of consent in any other country). If you’re lying about that, then you’re the one responsible for any ramifications, not me.
I won’t write anything that breaks the law or violates FimFiction policy.

Content Rules:
What I Love To Write

Transformations (with a few exceptions)
Gender swaps!
Anthro ponies (and normal ponies!)
Species changes! (with a few exceptions)
Mind control/memory play/corruption/personality adjustments! (Seriously, I love this)
AUs!
Romance, sensual or otherwise!
Lactation (milking)!

What I Probably Won’t Write

HiE/Displaced - These stories do almost nothing for me, sorry.
Transformations into inanimate objects, body parts or any sort of insect-thing.
Mary Sue OCs & Similar - I love writing real characters, not some overpowered perfect thing!
OC/Human x Canon Stories - I'm sorry, but I've never been able to enjoy these.
"Nonsense Stories" - If Twilight’s suddenly attending book burnings and Fluttershy is spraying machine guns into the Everfree, that’s just not for me. It’s got to make sense with the characters we know!
Super Detailed Pre-Written OCs - Creating new characters is easy for me. Working with existing characters is easy. Working with characters with a massive backstory who I barely know is incredibly difficult. You might know them inside and out, but I definitely don't and I don't have time to read a few stories to figure them out for this story! Loose ideas with a few directions are totally fine, though.
Crossovers - This is pretty unlikely unless you manage to get one universe I know super awesome.
Incomplete Stories - I'm not good at matching other's writing styles. If you want to give me part of a story that I can completely rewrite, that's okay, but I can't work with a pre-written story and finish it for you.

What I Never Write

No dealing with real-life people, like politicians, celebrities, show staff, actors, historical figures, etc.
No extreme violence, abuse (of any kind), excessively dark, vore (of any kind) or any sort of bathroom-content. Nope. Nope. Nope.
No characters below the age of 18! Period.
Moving forward in time or creating an AU to age them up is fine.
No rape or any other non-consensual explicit activity. I know mind control stuff dances on this line, but I make the call where that line ends.
Also No: Anything that violates the law or FimFic policy.
Also No: Anything I decide I’m not going to write.

Finally…

Remember that writing stories take time and effort. I love writing, but there’s a difference between writing a story that’s my idea and a story that’s yours! The more flexibility you give me in your story, the easier the creative process is going to be. However, no matter what, I’m going to treat your story as I would mine.
I do not give specific dates on when stories will be done by. My process tends to be organic and can often change, plus I have a CRAZY busy schedule. You are always welcome to poke me and ask how it's coming along though (as long as you're nice)!
I am allowed to say “no” at any time for any reason.
No refunds after the finished story is sent to you.
Once I’ve started writing your story, you won’t be able to get a refund on your first payment unless I’m unable to finish your story and have to abandon it.
(Note: I’m still working on policies for refunds and stuff! Bear with me!)
