How have I not seen this?! · 1:23am Apr 18th, 2019

There's an animated version of Terry Prattchett's Soul Music. Seems Pratchett was doing crossovers of Discworld with MLP before it was cool. (Also, holy crap, that's Christopher Lee as Death!) (Also, for reference, Binky is the name of Death's horse in the Discworld.)

Huh. Now I am curious, could you please explain... this. What is it? A show? Fan animation? Context would be greatly appreciated please.

Wait, have you not seen any of the Animated Discworld, or just Soul Music?

Apparently, it was a mini series that aired in jolly old England in 1997. I've watched the whole thing and it's pretty good. You can read about it here.
Or just watch it on YouTube! (Fair warning: the animation is... ehhh, passable, but not the best. I still enjoyed it, though!)

Well, I've seen Soul Music now, obviously, but none of the other adaptations. (Though now, as part of my own research, I've been made aware of them.) I might check out the live adaptation they did of Hogfather next.

They also animated Wyrd Sisters. The animation is likewise a bit... janky, as my friend put it, and it loses a some of that Pratchett essence without his distinctive narration, but it's a fun little thing that I have a soft spot for.

Also, I have Hogfather on DVD. Now that they sunk some money into and it shows.

I would heartily recommend the live adaptation of Hogfather, its a tad long if I remember correctly but was very well done and has a lot to enjoy.

Oh, neat; thanks!

What, specifically, would I type in the search bar to find these videos?

Well, I posted a link to all of Soul Music earlier in this thread, if that will save you some trouble. :)

Ah yes, I remember this, some of the cruddiest animation I've ever seen, and one of the best series I've ever watched. Good times.

Oh no Hat everybody else knew abot it we just didn't tell you

( guess witch movie I reference ? )
