In honour of Season 9 of Friendship Is Magic starting tomorrow, let me share this bizarre sight.
Yes, the Smyths in town - the country's capital city, at that - STILL has this up after a year and a half. Negligent outdated promotion, eh?
[Smyths is basically our equivalent of Toys R' Us, except it hasn't gone bust].
I do get a smile every time I pass it; I even hum music from the movie sometimes. Usually the first few notes off Off to See the World, when DJ-Pon-3 switches records to it during the credits. I've always liked that moment.

Heh. There's a Smyths in the nearest largish town to me (about four miles away) but I hardly ever go in as it's in an awkward location for non-drivers. I'm now half-tempted to go and see whether they're doing this, though!
