My Movie Review of Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (Reconstructed & Re-Analyzed)

This is a completely modified version of my review on “Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island”. Along with presenting a greater sense of reconstruction to correct grammatical errors and all that sort of thing, this also presents a combination of my thoughts on the film both when I initially reviewed and re-analyzed it later the same year.

My Second List of Least Favorite Villains

Following my previous post, I was immediately inspired to go ahead and showcase another ten of my least favorite villains. The biggest reason for why is because I enjoyed creating the last one so much that I couldn’t resist doing it again, and it felt good to get it out of my system as well.

My 3rd Live-Action Inspiration for How I View the Storm King, as Well as Keep Him in Character · 5:25pm Mar 31st, 2019

My comeback to making posts about inspirations.

Gosh, it feels like it’s been hundreds of years since I’ve made my last one.

Anyway, I’ve been wanting to make another “Inspiration” post for some time, to detail another character that I find myself inspired by in terms of whom I model the Storm King after in terms of personality and motivations, particularly because of his lack of screentime in the 2017 MLP film.

My 3rd inspiration for the Storm King, in terms of live-action characters that is, comes from this guy featured in the clip below.

Take a look:

From the very time I saw “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, I found Ultron himself to be one of my favorite Marvel villains, and one of the top live-action inspirations that I find myself modeling the Storm King after based on how much the Storm King and that other villain have in common.

In the case of this, the reason I find myself looking to Ultron in terms of character modeling is because each of them have such a dark sense of humor and laidback personality, along with definite sarcasm on the side.

Ultron’s motivations were that he wanted to wipe out humanity, because he believed that the race as a whole was unholy and destructive, with barely any redeemable qualities. In this case, he wanted to defy God himself by playing God and following his own judgements, which is something that I believe the Storm King also wanted to do.

There are other villains from Marvel whom I find to be inspirational to me, and I will gladly show you all who they are very soon. Just not now.

Now that you mention it, the Storm King and Ultron do share many common characteristics. Maybe I'll keep him in mind when I'm writing the Storm King in A Rather Large Adventure.

That’s great.

Did you see the last two inspirations I posted about?

I can see similarities between Ultron and the Storm King. :applejackunsure:

You can or can’t?

I’m just asking because of the unsure face.

I can. I just also think that it's a bit of a stretch.

I suppose in a way it does, though I'm not entirely positive. Ultron's idea of a perfect world would be to eradicate an entire race thinking that 'all' humans should be judged by their past sins or flaws and NOT by what they 'did' in a positive light. As for The Storm King, he doesn't want control of all the kingdoms he 'takes' over. He'd take their treasure, leave monuments in shambles, send everyone into hiding or else risk his wraith, and had his perfect storm worked a ton of folks would've been killed (Especially those who supported his mission).

It’s the personality of Ultron that I find to be much like the Storm King’s especially.

Oh yes, I can see why. It's been a while since I saw the movie but reading this one fan story with the MLP gals teaming with the Avengers against Ultron certainly helped me remember Ultron.
