In regards to the series finale · 3:47pm Mar 30th, 2019
(I know that I'm late to the party but I'm still going to speak my mind on it.)
Bronies, Pegasisters, Writers, and Artists, lend me your ears!
I've been a brony since late 2012 (October if I recall) and I've since been in a fanbase that is host to some people I've come to regard as friends. And with the series coming to an end, I've done quite a bit of reflection since the season nine announcement. If you all are worried that I'll be leaving this site, I'm not and would never be leaving and would only be here as long as the site is open. I'm not going anywhere. :)
As for my thoughts on the end of ponies, it's better if it ends there than for it to continue and see the quality decay past season nine. Am I sad about it? Yes. Will I forever mourn it? No. We have the experiences and memories that we've made and experienced and that's enough to last a lifetime. Through good times and bad, we've made something amazing, something that others never expected. Whether it be through our writing or illustrations, we've immortalized this show and it'll forever remain with us.
With that being said, the leaks of G5 has put the lot of us in doubt as to whether it'll carry on the legacy of the magic G4. Will it be as good? No, and I doubt it'll ever come close to what made G4 meant so much to us. But, I'll be holding judgment until a trailer is released. But, we'll remember FiM as a show that brought a group of oddballs together for something they all enjoyed and we'll still be around for a long time. We don't need a show to continue all that. We can still fuel FiM's legacy through our works.
Carry on and brony on.
I just don't get why they're ending it at nine, as opposed to an even ten, which they could very easily couple with tenth anniversary merch.

I'm with ya on that one. When the end comes, I'll look back on it with a smile on my face. :)
