I thought it was great, and fits the story quite purposefully. A big part of the weight of Horizons is the inclusion of some of the darkest horror I've had the pleasure of reading. I didn't even post about it in PMs or discord, but I'm glad some people did.
This was one of my favorite chapters honestly
I liked it! Not so much for the horror. More for you keeping me on the edge of my seat not knowing what was going to happen to all the lovely characters!

I enjoyed it. A little more tame than what I'm used to, but still exquisitely done. Honestly I'd love to see how far you could go with it. No matter how it goes, I'm excited for the next chapter.

As someone who actually read through all of Horizons, I'm just processing this as a forest of Taint. I'm pretty sure that's not what's happening here, but it does make me curious to see how Thren, BJ, and the gang will find food and water considering they don't know how deep in the 'woods' they are, and the line between herbivore and carnivore is particularly blurry in this 'forest'.
In short, I love it, and I'm ready for more!

One of them got both legs eaten off, one went from 0 corruption to 55 Corruption in one session (took a couple talents that exchange Corruption for bonuses for psychic tests), one actually lost corruption, all gained between 20 and 30 Insanity.
They don't want to go to "garden" worlds anymore.
