Hi all! For those who don't know, I'm the Vice Chair of BronyCon, and as you can see from my Fimfic, I've been here a long time! Normally, I don't involve any con business with Fimfic stuff - but right now we have something cool that I think would interest this community, namely:
BronyCon is running a Community Guest survey!
How does this matter here? Well, traditionally we in the writing community are pretty quiet and self-organize most of our stuff at BC. Which is fun, and awesome - but it also means some of our best talent isn't being showcased as awesomely as it could be, and people we could give bigger platforms to share their knowledge aren't being given the opportunity!
So, what am I asking?
1. Fill out the survey yourself for anyone you'd like to see us have as a CG! While I expect around here writers to be popular, this is for anyone in the fandom who you think would make a cool CG!
2. Please signal boost! Cause yea, the more eyes & responses we get, the better we're able to, well, act on it! 
3. If you think someone would make a good CG, totally feel free to advocate for them while signal boosting this! Or do it in the comments. Or both!
And of course, I am happy to answer any questions/etc!

BronyCon ends this year, but the fandom definitely isn't going anywhere - look at Star Trek. People still do tons of Original Series stuff and that ended its run before the vast majority of people on here were born.

THANK YOU!!! I have been telling EVERYBRONY I know that all they need to do is look to Star Trek to see how a fandom can not only survive, but friggin PROSPER, after the original show ends. And you know what one of the biggest factors in keeping the Star Trek fandom so strong...
You ever try counting all those paperback Star Trek novels??? You could fill a library with them, almost.
And all they are is licensed fanfictions.
Now... if the right people were able to get Hasbro to actually see what the fandom could do for them... HUGE profits in the end... Yeah, we could see a massive resurgence in ten or so years. And I can think of several writers that would be perfect for writing licensed MLP:FiM based novels. Kkat... CvBrony... Rated Ponystar... Anzel... just to name a few off the top of my head.
