Hello there... It's been a while, hasn't it? · 5:47am Mar 6th, 2019
Greetings everyone! I hope this message finds you well and that you are having a good day!
Now I know we haven't talked in a while, but I just wanted to say hello! I miss everyone. My days of writing have gone to the way-side after getting married, having kids, graduation, new job, etc.
Unfortunately I don't plan to pick up writing at the moment, but instead I have a favor to ask anyone courteous to read this far!
I started to write FIM fiction because of a man we all know, ROBCakeran53; the author of the original My Little Dashie. An inspiration to be sure, I was recently informed of a project he is working on, at this link: https://www.fimfiction.net/blog/848624/my-little-dashie-print-project. He is looking to gather up the best MLD content and make a sort of collection or anthology of them. He is looking for votes, ideas, submissions, etc.
Please go show him support, let's show him how much his stories influenced us.
(And a vote for my sequel wouldn't hurt 😁)
If you're still in the neighborhood, drop a channel, say hi! One thing that hasn't changed is that I'm always down to chat, back then and to now!
Hi again!
I already recommended your sequel as soon as I finished reading his blog post.
I, too, sent a message to him recommending your sequel as soon as I saw his blog post.
While I have read few MLD sequels/spin-offs, like 5, (which immediately makes me think of the line “Yeah, this is like my fifth time here.” although I have definitely read more than 2) your story is by far my favorite. I actually enjoyed your sequel more than the original MLD and I have read it twice (sort of, as the first time I listened to it).
Whenever someone mentions MLD (which admittedly doesn't happen much these days), I always recommend your sequel. You did a good job of balancing giving it enough of the original to feel like a sequel and giving it enough of your own story to make it interesting and unique. I'm glad you were inspired to write it.
Hello there!
Oh, the sweet 2014 of endless pony fanfiction reading. I miss it a lot.
The intense amount of feels by the original MLD brought me to your fan sequel. Thanks for that!
