Just something fun I decided to do. I went through the tag list for the Mane 6 and included Sunset Shimmer and Starlight Glimmer as well. So heres how the girls rank based on how many stories they are tagged in from least to most popular.

Dang...those numbers actually were pretty consistent until I saw Dash and Twi's. Sunset and Starlight werent introduced til quite a bit later in the series so Im not surprised they are at the bottom. But the difference between number 3 and last place is only 5,687. The difference between third and second, and then second and first is 5,309 and 14,303 respectively. Are those two really that much more popular then the other mane characters collectively? Would like to hear other ponies thoughts on the matter and also who is their favorite character and why.
Whyyy is Applejack ranked so low! Applejack is second best pony! I'm glad I could contribute a story for her, though all my other planned stories are from Rainbow's POV... Maybe I will consider switching some out... If I ever get around to writing them.
