So, as will likely become well known soon enough, it has been confirmed that season nine of MLP:FIM will be the last season of generation 4 
Which, in all honesty, I CAN understand to a degree. Hasbro IS a business, and there are only so many copies of Twilight and the gang that they can sell before they need to move on. Thant and making a NEW MORAL for EVERY EPISODE would likely run out of ideas, eventually. To be honest, it's really impressive it lasted so long, and I will gladly cherish all these episodes and seasons that have filled these last nine years.
Now if you are worried about my stories...don't be. I plan to continue writing for years to come, even after we say goodbye to gen 4. I may one day also write a bit about gen 5 ponies (since I think that IS confirmed due to the new movie set for 2021 (or is it 2020? I have no idea)), but for now I will stick with my gen 4 stories long after they have left us.
And the reason WHY I will do that is because, Thanks to CrystalMoon3, I have now hit 100 FOLLOWERS!!!!!!!!
So thank you to EVERYONE who think I am worthy of following, and look forward to more fun stories and such for years to come. Thank you everyone

Still, it's sad that the series will end on Season 9. It's also a shame that Lauren Faust, the lovely woman who launched the series didn't stay long enough to see it through.

Yea, but 9 seasons is still a lot, and I'm glad they were able to make it last so long based on her ideas. Let's just hope they take their experience from gen 4 and apply it to make gen 5 just as good
For the last 2 episodes they better go out with a bang
I am very sad to see FiM go, but am also excited to see what they come up with for generation 5!
