I think I've found my main. · 10:08pm Feb 7th, 2019
So this is my fourth day of Smash Ultimate. I've got a LOT of fighters yet to unlock and playtest. Then there's the DLC fighters that aren't even out yet. And I'm by no means anything remotely resembling good at this game.
But I believe I've found my top three mains.
#3: Link. Good balance, good arsenal of melee and ranged attacks, Specials and Smashes are good at kicking ass.
#2: Pikachu. Fast, lots of ranged attacks, and Thunderbolt is broken af.
But today--TODAY--I spent a solid hour learning to love the fighter who will probably become my #1 main.
Based on that screen cap, I’m not convinced that Mewtwo is right for you....
What about Isabelle?
I usually main Cloud, Ken or Bayonetta. It's always a good idea to have a secondary or third main.

Zero Suit is my third main actually! She is hella good! My top three are her, Young Link, and Roy, though I am growing fond of Ridley.

ZS Samus' Up Special is a BEAST. Also, her Grab and Forward Special are amazing. And her basic Melee attacks are lightning fast and furious.

Kirby or Captain Falcon for me.
I use female Corrin, purple Inkle, and Daisy as my three mains.
I haven't really played a Smash game since the original, but I still have a soft spot for my old main, Kirby.
I always used Bowser, but he's far better this time around. King K Roll is rather good as well. Tha crown throw is excellent to stagger suckas while you kick ass. But while rather difficult, I love using the long waited Cunning God of Death.
I love using Duck Hunt and Snake as well, but those are more difficult to master, more so the latter
Ultimate is like a big combination of all my mains across the series. Though if I had to narrow it down I'd say Bowser, Dark Pit and Cloud, though I also really like to play as Roy, Snake and Donkey Kong surprisingly
I was split between Mario, Kirby, and Pikachu from Brawl, skipped Smash 4, and though I don't have a Switch myself, I currently prefer Link and Pichu in Smash Ultimate.
Little Mac, Inkling, and Mii Brawler for me
Just saying with link you can bounce your bombs on your boomarang as it is coming back to you for a longer range
Oh and my 3 mains are (in no order): inkling, sonic, and greninja. But I am also linking some others like ice climbers, kirby, zelda, and palutena

Ridley, Cloud, and Kirby for me. I wanna learn Dark Samus but I'd need to borrow the switch from my roomie for practice.

For me it's Inkling, Robin, or the Belmont Bros.
So far I'm also liking the planty boi/grl, but I haven't had enough practice with them to really consider them a "main".
PS. This is the first Smash game I got really into, and I just played Jigglypuff for the first time since Smash 64. They still have the instakill for Jigglypuff's shield breaking and it's still glorious.
Like I said before, Ness has been my main for twenty years and I don't plan on changing that any time soon. But I guess I'm kinda sorta good with Little Mac too, so I guess he's my secondary main.
