Print Run Updated: Funded! · 8:43pm Feb 2nd, 2019
Hey everypony, quick update on the Message in a Bottle print run campaign! About three hours after the project was announced, it was fully funded, how awesome is that?
This means that anyone was worried about signing onto a project that might not happen can now get involved, if it was the sort of project you were interested in. I've already begun work into the layout and formatting for production, though of course I can't make any final decisions until we have a better idea of what will be possible based on the volume of our run.
Thanks so much to everyone who decided to get involved, or who does get involved over the next month that the project will run. Anyone who hasn't yet can take a look at the project right here: https://igg.me/at/starscribe
Hooray, that was quick.

good luck.
Out of curiosity, how substantial is the new epilogue? One of my very few criticisms of the story is that, since Part 2 is integrated into the same story, it feels that Part 1 doesn't have a proper ending.
I am so excited to get this book. It's going right beside my Fallout Equestria book.

The new section will be between 5k-20k in length, depending on the leeway given to me by the publication. I am limited to 1000 pages by the printer, and I intend to use those pages to the fullest. I can say that the epilogue will focus entirely on events before part 2, dealing with some of the events that didn't get a good enough resolution. I plan on the epilogue containing a perspective section from Lightning Dust, Olivia, and Lucky Break. Beyond that, I can't say yet, since I haven't finished writing it yet.
