This is just a bunch of stuff that will never be shown or mentioned in the story.
Now I've seen a lot of comments on where Chaos fits into all of this, so I'll start there.
The Warp as we know it doesn't exist. It's called the Aetherium in this universe. But here is where it diverges fully from 40k.
The War in Heaven never happened so it never became what the Warp did. The Old Ones did exist at one time, but no one's ever seen one and no one knows what happened to them.
Yes it is still dangerous to travel through, but nowhere near as bad as it is in 40k.
Which leads us into Discord. It's Discord. Stop trying to make sense of him.
As for the souls of her friends? There is no plan at all that involves them in any form for this story. They are dead and gone, and never returning. Twilight outright refuses to even consider resurection for them.
Now, comes the part that I'm not looking foward to. Some have wondered where Celestia, Luna, Cadance and Flurry Heart are in all of this. That is coming next chapter.
Something I am doing now involves Twilight's finding of Midnight. I've dropped hints of what lead to it. I think that chapter will come after the next one.
I am curious to see if the other princesses are still there and (if yes) if they are friendly (or not) with Twilight.
