Believe it or not, I actually got some chores done today.

And that's saying something, because if Diablo IV was this good at any point last year, it would have definitely been near the top of my Best Games of 2023. You know, instead of being omitted entirely.

So let's just say that Armored Core VI absolutely just got smacked out of the running for Best Yesteryear Game.

    Updates and Such

Well, as a thunderstorm rolls overhead (and hopefully doesn't knock power out), I thought I'd offer some updates on what I've been up to.

Long story short, I'm pretty much in gaming overload at the moment.

Resident Evil 2 released on January 21st, 1998, for the Sony Playstation, to widespread critical acclaim.

Four (five) days to go!

I'll get the remake, but I already pre-ordered KH3, and will pre-order Sekiro

I wish that it'd actually come out today. Just to make it more fitting.

With only a few days difference, you have to wonder why this wasn't the case.

Plus when I get it this'll be my first game that I get to fight a Tyrant. I've NEVER fought one in any of the normal Resident Evil games I have.

You sir, need to play REmake then.

Yeah you have to do tank controls, but it's a solid remake of a classic horror game.

And BTW the closest I had to an encounter were those rail shooter chronicles games and..... even though I like them I don't get the same kind of.... thrill I guess from how these things typically are shown. Seen some walkthroughs though and they seem SUPER cool.

Can't wait for this. Gonna buy it during the next sale though, I'm a scrooge most of the year, especially when saving up for Bronycon expenses.

I should play through the original... I heard in the RE2make, in the original there's four different scenarios one could play through, some involving Mr X. Is that the case in the RE2make, or just the two storylines involving Leon and Claire?
