    It's that time.

Well, it's about that time. As much as I hate leaving things unfinished I just haven't been feeling much love for MLP in a while. The stories here no longer interest me and I really haven't watched an epsiode in at least a year if not more. Why am I doing this? I guess to head off any questions as to where I've been or if such and such a story will be continued.

He's not dead. He just left early to avoid the rush.

It's not often that the death of a well known figure affects me. When Leonard Nimoy died I merely said, "that's too bad" even though I was a massive Trekkie in my youth. When Robin Williams died I said, "what a shame" even though I thought his early stand up days were some of the funniest things I had ever seen. But this is possibly the first time I've felt actual sadness at the passing of a

I've gone through a bit of a dry spell, not much in the way of inspiration and have a half-dozen things sitting on the back burner waiting for me to pick them up again.

    Plagiarism 2: Electric Boogaloo

Guess who's back? Everybody's favorite thief, "TheSequentialArtMan". He's back and hasn't changed one bit. In fact I checked his story and while he put some of the chapters away, a great deal of his first chapter is still lifted verbatim from "A Doorway to Another Place".

Plagiarism or "I couldn't think of anything so I copied you".

It's not a nice thing when somebody takes your work and copies it. I'm not talking somebody that takes the idea or even the concept and reworks it as their own. No, I mean when somebody goes as far as to actually steal your words and then acts like it's no big deal.

Still more to come · 4:32am Nov 5th, 2012

I'm currently working on one more chapter for the side stories trying to flesh out a Hearts & Hooves story. But as of now that's pretty much all I had for the adventures of Rick, Twilight, Twyla and Sterling. So I'm going to be throwing this out there to those of you who might want to see more from these characters.

As such I'm asking that if you have an idea, or something in particular you'd like to read please let me know in the comments below. If I like it and it's something I can work with then I'll try to build a chapter around it.

Once again, thanks to everybody that has enjoyed the stories so far.

Why not create another romance with Apple Bloom falling for a human man who entered into Equestria unknowingly (happens after Twyla's 8th birthday, making Apple Bloom somewhere at like 20)

Very nice to hear, I have enjoyed their adventures rather well, also helped me pass time while at work this morning.

As far as the next idea(s), how much do you enjoy the characters of Luna and Celestia? I noticed that they did not get much "screen time" outside of their roles for plot purposes in the Door stories. I personally love seeing stories with them as the focus of romance and some sort of non dark/tragic story. (By Dark, gore and such). Either of them with either a human or Twilight has always been a personal favorite of mine, and I would not object to seeing you write such a take of you thought you could do so and enjoy it.

That's an idea, but a far as the story canon for this story goes the only portal between Equestria and Earth is between the farmhouse and the library. And any human walking through it will become a pony and vice versa. Although that doesn't stop Apple Bloom from crossing over for whatever reason and meeting somebody on Earth.

There might actually be something there. Let me think about it.

Never considered using them as anything other than just background characters and the occasional showing up from time to time. I'll think about that as well.

Thank you both. You've given me something to think about.

They can be very great characters to write with as the focus, the biggest plus is the complexity of their characters that allows you to do mostly anything with them. The biggest elephant in the room they create though when looking long term is the immortality issue, however with your creativity you could probably come up with some method to avoid any bittersweet paths if you know what I mean. Regardless, whatever you decide to go with next I'll be looking forward to it.
