So for the last few years, I have been trying(with much difficulty) trying to get out some adult rated stories out. Four villainesses vs Dusk SHine, Smoldering Start Endless Ember and Dragon tails.
Heres the thing, I have great expansion for details, I could vividly imagine the art that would go into a clopfic and smut stories. My issue is... porn and general smut has ruined writing sexual stories for me. In a huge twists, I love to read smutfics but I can't write it. Give me a story where I spent a month on writing a single chapter and that is fine but... give me a smut fic and its pure hell.
As of now, I just finished the 2nd chapter of A Smoldering Start, the smut part just finishing and that was agony. I actually go through Dragon Lord's Sequel already half way done and already have the follow up chapters in production!!! But I still haven't touched 4VvDS in six months and Dragon tails... is also somewhat done but its difficult!
I feel like the way some of these stories are expected now a days, its difficult for me to write a smut story... mostly because of the words used. "Cock, Slut, Pussy, Schlong, whore, dick, Fuck, bitch, and a few others, are what the usual standards in most stories are. Its are to use those when you are trying to be as detailed as possible without it turning into a porno.
Great example, is that Dragon Tails, im trying to go into detailed anatomy on dragons and make it a bit more erotic and sensual then a straight up porno or smut fic. I put forth heavy amounts of details and use appropriate words without getting crazy.
4VvDS and the hardcore of A Smoldering Start, I could put those in there just because its meant to be a smut but its still stuck in my head to do them. Dragon tails is easier but Im stuck with the fact that the other stories might not get done. And I don't want to do that, I want you to enjoy these stories without long periods of delay. So, I asked that you give me some chance to try and give me some more leeway on the smuts. After 4VvDS, no more Smut. After SSEE, that's also done. Dragon tails will continue as long as there are stories to go for, but no more.
Advice is always sought or if you are interested in tackling the smut of my stories you are more then free to give your input or even try it yourselves.
I don't see why you feel you have to use those descriptions that bother you. There are smut fics that don't use those words and are erotic and sensual as you want. Theres no need to feel you have to conform in order to make what is apparently considered a "appropriate" smut fic. Just write it the way you want, your fans will be totally ok with it.

Yeah, I guess so but its still on its on, difficult to write smut. For me, the real issues is trying not loose track of the details on the sexual activity.

Hmm, well there isn't much I can say on that. If that's the case, maybe have some basic outline to follow before hand that will help make the details easier to fill in or some smut author you like and use his work as a guide line. Hopefully something can make things easier for you.

I have thought of that, but my personal moral gets in the way and I think that I am either coping someone else's work(Despite not really doing it) or that im not creative enough. But overall I think just general smut has died on me as a whole. At least... writing it. In truth, I had a list of stories that I wanted to write as smut but it feels like those will not be seen in daylight.

No author is a master of all genres, so its ok man. Theres nothing wrong with how you feel, just don't tie yourself down with this. Its ok to seek a basic outline from someone who is good at smut in order to help yourself, you can even credit them if you feel like it will help you.

just give it some time and you’ll figure out what to do.

Try avoiding anything vulgar or explicit mention of genitalia. Subtlety might help add your word count. Something like "she gasped as she felt the connection--" or something like that. Cheesy as hell, but it's good practice.
