    Return Of The Rat

    Hi. Been a while.

Not going to lie, I have not been involved in pony for a long time at this point. I've moved cities, gotten married, the whole 9 yards. Believe me this is as big of a surprise to me as it is to anyone who cares to read this.

    Dissapearer

Kinda fell off here for a while, huh?

Been having some real-world events going on that have kind of put a pause on anything I was doing here. It's pretty likely that's gonna continue for the next month or so too.

But, when I can, I'll get the last chapter of J Is For Genius done, and whatever else.

    Everything is a song.

    This Town

New chapter for J Is For Genius. Sorry it took so long, I was hoping to have it ready before I left for the states, but that didn't happen.
As it stands I've been in Seattle for a week now and had a bit of downtime so finished it off. I'm Portland bound tomorrow.

    Aphid Boy Versus The Krell

    An lo, he is unemployed.

Shop closed, I've booked my tickets to the States.

I leave at the start of April, and I'm planning to get J Is For Genius finished before then. I've been slow on the next chapter though, so we'll see. Everything is a song.

[Basically most of this post is about the big story thing I've been writing. More on that below, if you'd care to find out.]

It's a brand new year and all that. This year the album this song is from will turn 30, I'll be losing my job, doing a bit of travelling, and moving out. That's if everything goes to plan, anyway. We'll see.

I'm feeling pretty comfortable with the progress made with the big story so far. Enough to be thinking about finding cover art. Enough that I should be publishing the first few chapters pretty soon. I suppose I feel like I've gotten enough written down now that I can afford to be less vague about it, at least.

For better or for worse, it's a Fallout: Equestria story. I can practically feel the boo's and hisses coming from all directions.

I know it's a massively overdone cliche at this point, believe me, but it's a story I've had planned out for years now, which is hopefully long enough that I've had the time to work out any of the kinks. I've had characters sorted for ages, yadda yadda yadda, everything is now just down to the execution, which I hope I can pull off well enough that people like it, because I'm honestly pretty excited to finally be putting it out there, I feel like I've been sitting on it long enough.

Without giving too much away, it's called Overture, and it follows the search for Octavia's cello. Like I've said, I've had the project knocking around for a while now, and I hope I've managed to make something engaging. Admittedly it starts off a bit slow, but I'm hoping if any of you read it you'll stick with it until it ramps up. Who knows, you might all hate it anyway. I'm fully aware how overblown the whole Fallout: Equestria thing is at this point, so I wouldn't blame you.

I just figured it was time I finally did something with this story before the show finishes. That'd be funny, I suppose.

Anyway, I suppose that's all. Watch this space for the longest thing I've ever written to date.
