21/12/18 Update · 3:55am Jan 1st, 2019
Thank you everyone who ever read one of my pieces on either account, I hope you enjoyed them. The ride ends here, sadly. Between people having to say one good thing(Seriously? If you don't like the stories, don't read them! I swear society is even stupider and self-entitled than I thought.), people giving you issues for having your own ideas, and people thinking that they can hide behind "Criticism" as a valid reason to try and get you to write what they want, my drive to write for people other than my closest friends died about 4 months ago. So great work. Say I can't handle criticism, or whatever you want to protect your ego's, all I can hope is that one day you properly learn what criticism is, and how it works. We are here to read and write stories about colourful equines from a children's show about Friendship, yet the community attacks people for having different opinions or ideas. I saw someone in the comments of a story I've been reading complain to the author that they were writing Pinkie Pie in character, and when the author replied saying that perhaps the reader should read a different story (which yes, may have been snarky), the person pretty much called the author thin skinned because they couldn't stand "Light Criticism". Seriously, it's Pinkie- How can you be upset if someone wrote her as fourth wall breaking? Isn't that a major part of her character in the show and movies? The same story had someone bitching about shipping, which is another head shaker. Isn't that what pretty much started fan fiction? If you can't let other people have fun with their sandbox, and they aren't causing trouble for anyone else, why do you have to go causing trouble for them? Just let them have their fun. That's what writing Fan Fiction is supposed to be about, isn't it? Our fun ideas on how character's could potentially act in different ways, both in and out of universe, in and out of character. Yet people have to complain when something happens that they don't like, even though they could go read something else, or even write it themselves.
So again, thank you to the people who have been reasonable and supportive.
Good to hear from you again
Sorry to see them end.
Whatever you choose, I wish you good luck.
Well I enjoyed your stories but good luck were the wind and life takes you
Sad but understandable I just hope you find success where ever you go bud.
I'll miss your stories, it was a really enjoyable ride with what you wrote. I wish you the best.
It’s sad that after waiting so long for any word from you that this is what we get. Well good luck and hope the new year maybe brings you back. Your stories were probably some of my favorites.
I am sad to see you go, I really enjoyed your writing style and your stories. I completely understand why you are stepping away though, sometimes other people are rude and insulting to the extreme. I hope they haven't ruined your passion for writing and , though its a bit selfish, I hope you return to the site at some point, Your story updates always brightened my day!
Well, nice to hear from you, and it's sad to see you go. Can't be helped, I suppose though. I suspect every Fan fiction gets to this point, so I can't really blame you.
I wish you luck in the future and hope you have a wonderful life.
Glad to hear from you, but sad to see you go. I wish you luck in your future endeavors.
I've always loved your stories and never seen anything wrong in them, even if I'm not doing a lot of criticism than saying "I love your story" and faving.
I know you may not have time for that, but do you think you could re-upload the first version of The Cello and the Guitar? I didn't got the chance to read it.
And for me, even if it's sad, all your stories (completed, hiatus, cancelled, incomplete, etc.) are worth their every chapter (The Return of The New Girl seemed good).
Maybe people could keep going with your stories,, as remakes, sequels or else, if they ask permission.
You are still great in my opinion, not were.
I'm sorry to see these end like this. I always enjoyed your stories. I hope you still hold your passion for writing with your friends and maybe one day try writing on here again.
