Update and another author chat · 4:12am Dec 21st, 2018
After a lot of hem and haw about how to do the next chapter, I am making some progress at last. Hoping to finish within the week, despite the Christmas holiday.
Most of the delay on this was personal matters keeping me focused elsewhere. The rest of the delay I've been struggling with is due to the kind of stuff about to happen.
It's going to get exciting quick.

Life has taken some interesting turns in the past year and a half.
The kind that will force me to make some serious revisions in the story, if I am able to continue it at all.
Having become a Christian, I need to clean up some aspects of the story that are now either contrary to my faith, or things I have frankly realized were detracting from the potential buildup.
Really considering a snapshot kind of chapter from late in the story, just to get an idea out of my head, but I am very, very busy these days.
As well as a separate short story I've got on the back burner.
Creative Writing time is not important enough to put the required time in, much of the time right now.
Was even out of the country last weekend, serving those in need.
Basically, I have not given up on the story, but I am also uncertain if I will have the time.

Understandable, umm...
Shrugs cause I can't think of anything else to say without getting into a deep discussion on Christianity with how most of the book is just a history lesson while the new testament is full of plotholes due to suffering from religious sacrilege when the last empire of Rome became the first pope and did so by bringing all the books writing by Jesus's disciplines together to solidify his power except for one and bits and pieces from the others cause they didn't fit with his patriarchal prejudice views.

Spoken like someone that has never seriously studied the Bible, but you are welcome to your opinion.

Most have a lot of false assumptions about the Bible based on what other people say, including many believers.
I have been spending time looking for the truth, regardless of my personal feelings.
Most will never understand, if they do not make the same commitment on some level.
I wanted the truth, no matter what it cost me.
Once I truly looked, I found it.
And it was worth the personal cost I have paid.
