"The owner of the building called to report a squatter on her lawn, usually we don't get involved on something this minor but apparently they've had some history together, so we came down to make sure it goes peacefully."
"Thank you for coming, officer. That's the wagon over there."
"Okay, wait right here, we'll go talk to her."
"Excuse me, ma'am, is this your wagon?"
"Who wants to know?"
"The owner of the property."
"Well you can tell her that if she has something to say to me, she can come say it herself."
"She asked us to come and talk to you about moving your wagon somewhere else."
"Why should I?"
"She is the owner of the property, ma'am, if she says you can't park your wagon here then you can't park your wagon here, it's that simple."
"For her information, I received permission to park here from her roommate!"
"Ma'am, did your roommate give her verbal consent for her friend to park her wagon here?"
"Yes, but she had no right to give that permission!"
"Is this roommate of yours subletting or renting out part of the property?"
"No, she's just a friend who's staying with me for a while."
"Okay, ma'am, while the owner's roommate did say you could park here, she has no claim to ownership of the property, so she really doesn't have legal grounds to authorize that."
"Meaning what?"
"Meaning you're gonna have to move your wagon."
"You can go tell the property owner that I'll move my wagon when I'm good and ready!"
"I'll go do that, and then I'll come and arrest you."
"For what?"
"Your vehicle is illegally parked on another pony's property, if she says you have to move you need to listen to her. So you have to move your wagon."
"Make me!"
"Unfortunately that didn't go so well, we had to impound the wagon, the wagon's owner has been taken into the station to be booked for resisting arrest and illegal trespass on private property. We did inform the property owner that we're usually pretty lax on these things so we could waive the second charge, but she insisted we pursue it to 'teach her a lesson'."
Starlight is going to be SO annoyed. With everyone.
