me checking the dislike ratio on my new story

Glad to know bigotry is still alive and well in this fandom.

It's glad to see some of us didn't watch the same series as I did.

    So where I've been

Okay, uh... how do I begin this? Well, I suppose I should start with the obvious. Yes, I've been distracted. If you follow me on Archive that should be obvious. And if you don't, you totally should btw. Yes, I'm shameless.

Down in New Orleans · 1:06am Dec 14th, 2018

Okay, recently over thr weekend I was down in the Crescent City, and believe me, my oh my it was something else. I'd like to put in a beautifully poetic long rambling blog post on the city, but as I'm not that gifted I'll just say this. It's just like they say it is. New Orleans is everything you expect it to be. Beautiful, historic, grand, sleazy, seductive and the life of the party. Also, I think I came down with a new love for the jazz stylings of Satchmo, aka Louie Armstrong in New Orleans. Great shit there, man.

I'll let the images and music speak for themselves, really.

(The Princess and the Frog's opening theme? Sums up New Orleans in 2 minutes, believe me.)

I live about an hour away, trust me when i say its like the Gilded Age over there. Looks beautiful on the outside, inside your most like to lose more than your money and/or car. Other than that Louisiana isn't a bad neighbor

Just glad you enjoyed it, m8!

Yeah, I think I know what you mean. Stayed in the Treme district, and while I'm trying very hard not to be judgemental here I wouldn't exactly go out for a walk in the streets in some parts of that area at night.

Listen, when you've lived down here long enough, you kniw what goes down in Louisiana because thats the main news center. Fox8 Local. Based in New Orleans and EVERYONE hears what happens. But hey, there is good, just go to the French Quarter and NOT Bourbon street. Quick warning.

Yeah, I sorta saw what you meant by the more sleazier sides of Bourbon Street. It has it's nice spots like the Hard Rock Cafe, but when you wander down a street that has strip joints and the like, then there's that part of your brain that says: "Nope, no way man!"

Watched the backdoor pilot for it on the main NCIS series, but beyond that no.

Oh yes, the Big Easy is great. Encounter this guy?
