With 16 votes Cheerilee is next for my story. I got the start of it in the works as we speak and it maybe done tonight or tomorrow pending migraines and 9 other stories I'm currently beating with a shovel. 12 if you are counting collabs.
And before you say writing is the hard part, it actually isn't, at least for me. Nah, the hard part of being a writer is juggling your ideas and picking which one to write out. The other hard part is ignoring those ideas until you finish current stories that you're doing with other writers that you should be working on instead. What makes it worst is when you're working on those current stories
Who really doesn't care about the feature box. I wake up and check my emails and such, and when I detour to here I notice my newest story is already in the feature box, and I feel indifferent about it. For most people, I know they live just to get their stuff featured, while I just write for the fun of it. I could care less if I got into the box or not.
When you're writing a story, you take a break and lurk around the net and then you see this.
But what if Rainbow Dash had a weird obsession with panties? Not just any regular pair, but dirty ones worn by certain Wonderbolt captains and that had acquired their scent? What if she like to put them on and clop herself in them just for release?
As you can see I want to write something oddly creepy but for some reason I can't help think this idea has been done before.
Writing a long chapter that's breaking the 7k mark and your computer freezes and then you realized you never saved the chapter at different times.

It's great to be 14. But anyway, I am still pissed. Had that story read to go...took me all day to write the damn thing and then Sandy caused the blackout. Oh well, as long as I have other stories to write. lol, I have so many unfinished stories I should work on but never do. Maybe I should actually try and write. Nah, I'm good.

Some stories I have are as big as 11k-12k words, so having those back ups are essential. 
Aww man, it's a terrible feeling when that happens. I had that happen to me a while back. Since then, I always hit the save button on MS word and always make sure back up my work. After each night or writing session, I back up my progress on a flash drive and periodically update my entire archive on my external hard drive so that doesn't happen again. It's a good thing I did that. I have the new chapter of my Celestia fic nearly done. Well I had some computer issues following the hurricane and my main file became corrupt and would not open. Thank goodness I had my back ups, otherwise I might have lost over 10,000 words of work. I felt a rush of panic for a moment, before thinking of my back-ups. Do you have a word processor, like MS Word? I highly reccommend it, because it makes writing so much easiler than just typing them on here. Plus you can back up your work and Flash Drives and External Hard Drives aren't that expensive anymore. I think I paid less than $10.00 for my 4GB flash drive and less than $30 for a 250GB External Hard Drive.

Usually MS Word saves backup copies of my stuff but for some reason it didn't save without me noticing. I don't know what happened but all the files on my back up got deleted when I had to reset my computer. But this isn't stopping me from continuing in fact, I've already started to rewrite it again.
