    Always Read Da Rules

So I recently saw the site wide contest regarding a story that consists only of dialog.

And I thought "Hey! I have a story that is all dialog already!"

So I went in, did a few little edits to make Celestia sould more Celestial, and then went to see how to submit my little tale.

    The Bean is loose!

Okay. Somebody left the front gate open, and Baked Bean has gotten out and wandered off again.

If you happen to spot him, do not approach, do not get him wet, do not expose to direct sunlight, and whatever you do, don't feed him after midnight. (It makes him gassy.)

It's kinda sad when I go to make edits to No Nose and find suggestions and errors that the editors found a year ago that I never got around to fixing.

Don't be me. If you find a mistake, fix it.

That is all. :facehoof:

These errors have aged more than Bean so far.

Could be worse, I've not edited one story I said I would almost four years ago.

I can say for absolute certain that no mistake-correction anybody has requested in any of my pony stories has been delayed for more than--

(checks timeline)

Six years. Maybe seven.

So there's hope for me yet! :yay:

Another thing I have noticed is that, with all the story chapters I have written, there have been some glaring and obvious mistakes I have made that not a single reader out there has called me out on! I welcome people pointing out my typos and grammar errors, but only one person has actually questioned one thing in my stories... and I know for a fact that I am not perfect in my writing. So why are they reluctant to point things out for me when they do so regularly for others?

I promise to make absolutely certain to voice out any mistakes you make in future stories.

Mistakes or not, the nose series are still some of my all time favorites.

4980209 Well, I like to think (when I find these in mine) that the readers are so caught up in the story that they skip right over any problems. I know better. Sometimes it's just not worth the click to tell the author, because I've done that for a few that never got fixed. Um... Not because I went back weeks later and checked up on them. That would be... obsessive, I think. Moving right along...

Please do. I can't fix it if I don't even realize I messed up (which is, like, 90% of my mistakes.)

Yeah, something we all wish for... but know it is unlikely. Anyway, it's been a great pair of stories, and I can't wait to read the further adventures of Bean and Co.
