    Ten stories

Privet! Finally I made and published ten stories! It was hard to translate stories from Russian to English, especially because my English skills isn't enough good, and editing stories wasn't easy part, either. Idea, inspiration, translating, writing, editing... I know, how it is, I'm sure.

    My "good" English

Привет всем! ... Again, it was "Hello Everyone!" on Russian. I did geometry today. And suddenly I thought: "How do I read in English? Good or bad?" Yes, the thought came to me during geometry. Very timely, isn't it? I started reading an English textbook - I realized that I do not know English at all. Imagine: English, which is trying to speak by Russian. A terrible sight, I want to say. Damn me!

Привет всем ... it was "Hi everybody" on Russian. So, if my native language is Russian, what am I doing on Fimfiction?
Why do I write stories not in Russian? Well, I'll try to explain.

First, I'm going to exam English to go to College. I can perceive this language by ear, I can read English too, but writing English is more difficult for me. Therefore, while there is time, I will practice my English in writing stories. This is both useful and fun.

Secondly, I write stories for a long time, but, of course, I wrote them in Russian. And later I decided to try something new: to translate my stories, to work a little with another language. Since my childhood I like to learn English, so I decided to do it. Of course, I do not write myself. Dictionary, teacher and online translator help a little. So you may have noticed in my first story is not quite the correct formulation of the proposals and the wrong arrangement punctuation mark. I'll try to fix it. Why don't I publish my stories on the Russian-language story site? I do, but only on that website people post their stories not only with the characters of MLP. This site contains stories about characters from different fandoms, so my stories are not very noticeable there. There's not too much bronies on this site. So I decided to go ahead and develop my English.

I'll probably finish this. Yes, it is difficult for me, but I like to translate, and it inspires me to continue to do so. I'll publish a new story soon. Thank you for reading.

Ok I believe in you, however beware English is one of the hardest languages to learn

Yes, English is one of the hardest languages to learn , but I really like learning them. Maybe someday I'll master in English perfectly, if I will try ... although, don't listen to silly dream of little pegasister from Russia.

4974432
And also the reason why it's so hard is because their is many different accents and how people say words.

4974439
Sorry I actually thought that you were male, and trust me there is a lot of males that use the main 6 names in their name.

4974441
Don't worry about this, that's okay.

4974443
well thanks, any I live in America, specifically North Alabama. So most of us have southern accents.

4974444
I say most because the heaviness of your accents can drastically change from person to person.

4974445
Really? Well, my English has specific Russian accent.

4974447
Well let me ask, heavey or not heavey Eaglish Russin accent?

The site contains stories about characters from different fandoms, so my stories are not very noticeable there.

Fimfiction looks like a good "Improvise, adapt, overcome" option. Good luck with improving, I was always very bad when it came to languages, so I'd say I know the struggle you're getting through. I'm just going to point out that your English looks very solid already.

I disagree with you here. Even in Europe, there are languages like Hungarian, Basque or Finnish - all of them have many cases, which gives the original word many, many variations, out of which only one is correct. The closest English ever gets to casing is when you use "whom" instead of "who". Also, both Russian and English are from the Indo-European group of languages, which should make it easier for a person using one language to learn the other. (compare it with learning Mongolian, for example)

4974450
Guess that could be true, it just depends on how long it will take for her to learn it.

4974448
I think I have heavy, Russian accent really stands out.

4974448
Sound {th} in my speech sound like {v}

4974454
Well I have a lighter southern accent, maybe because why mother was form bs California.

4974450
Thank you. Plus Russian and English have something similiar.

4974459
Wait isn't it like 1 in the morning where your at?

4974462
Sorry, can you explain? I didn't understand

4974463
What time is it in wherever your at in Russia? Because isn't Russia like 12 hours head of America?

4974464
Well in my city Moscow it is 21:51.
It's almost 10 o'clock.

4974465
Its almost 1 in the afternoon in Alabama

4974464
And it's evening, not morning

4974467
Wow ... that's a big time difference

Well, who could have guessed :applejackunsure:? You are secretly a Russian :applejackconfused:! Or... wait, not so secretly, huh?

This... warms my heart :pinkiehappy:!
