Unspoken Hiatus, Unsung Song · 4:32pm Nov 28th, 2018
Hey, everyone.
So, as many of you who followed or favorited my work will know, I've been pretty inactive over the past several months. Over the summer, I'd taken a vacation with my family to see relatives, and towards the latter half and end of that vacation was getting very tensed up and stressed from a mix of overactive clingy young cousins and uncertainty how to continue my fics on here and start the original novels I've had planned in my head. When I finally got back from the trip, I decided to take some time to detox from everything and cool off, but still planned on getting back into writing ASAP, only... that didn't happen, despite being offered an art trade for another story, working out plans for ongoing stories and having been intent on starting a new and sizable project. Between helping my family settle back into our house, dealing with some points of stress and frustration with myself over not having been able to figure out how to start my original works, I was feeling extremely agitated. And when I'm agitated, my work is hit or miss, meaning it can either turn out really good or really, really poorly crafted, and I refuse to settle for a poor and pale imitation of my craftsmanship with writing. It's my passion, my one proper talent.
So, ultimately, I took a semi-silent, semi-hiatus from the site. I was still posting comments, reading other peoples' Fics, but I was otherwise decided to leave the site alone until I felt I was at a point where I could properly begin my work again with a calm mind. Needless to say, that's taken... Well, it's taken a good bit of time. 
However, I am happy to say that, with the arrival of the holiday season and the coming of Christmas, I've found myself in a much better mood, and a new sense of drive has begun to build inside me. And, to make things even more wonderful, I've gotten a new level of inspiration for ongoing and upcoming stories!
Now, you may wonder what this means. I'll say it clear: Flutter-Spark is coming home, and he's home to stay.
Starting Monday next week, I will once again be posting actively to the site with at least one update a week to my fics, although I can't guarrantee consistency at this point. How do I mean that? Well, essentially I work on what I feel like working on. Always have, probably always will. That means, if I'm driven more towards working on something like, say, Good Crusader Hunting instead of something like PONYTALE or Tails of Equestria, then I'll probably update the former instead of one of the latter two. And I may never know which I'm more inclined to work on at any given time, either, and will likely work on everything off and on until I find what I'm most driven to update at a given time, so it'll be a surprise for everyone–including me! 
And, as I've said, I've been granted new inspiration for even more upcoming works, too, so there'll be one other aspect to this: the release of new stories! Every week, there'll be a chance, even if only a slim one at first, of me releasing a chapter for a brand new fic, or else a new stand-alone single-chapter story. And, boy, have I got a lot of ideas. Those who have been tracking my activity may already know, but I've agreed to take on a project to create a story based on one of my favorite video games of all time. Which game is that? Well, I'm not gonna say. Again, those who've managed to track all my activity in some manner will know which game it is, most likely, as I always make it clear when I've found a favorite.
However, I will say here and now that a few upcoming stories, only some of which will be posted here, will be involving a very famous and beloved purple dragon, and I don't mean Spike of MLP. And that's all the clue you're getting for them for right now. 
As it stands, though, you can definitely expect an update to several of my stories over the coming weeks with, again, at least one update per week starting on Monday next week. And there'll also be a guarranteed Christmas-released one-shot that's popped into my head recently, one that I absolutely love the idea of and am determined to write. Hopefully you will all enjoy that. But, for now, my attention is going to PONYTALE, Good Crusader Hunting, and one or two others I've been wanting to work on again.
With that all said, thanks to everyone for all the favorites and comments over the past few weeks/months, they really mean a lot, and thank you one and all for your having been so patient with me. I promise, good stuff is coming in the very near future! Happy holidays to everyone, Happy Hearths-Warming to all my fellow Bronies, and a Merry Christmas, too!
