I Freaking Love Miracle of Sound · 4:36am Nov 24th, 2018
If any of you guys don't know about Gavin Dunne's fan-music channel, "Miracle of Sound," do yourself a favor and check it out.
Especially if you're a fan of video games. The guy makes some kickass songs for a good variety of games. From The Witcher III to Spider-Man, here, have a selection of some of my personal favorites:
(Quick shout-out to ShadowLDrago, who introduced me to "Hell to Pay" which arguably got me on this kick to begin with. XD)
I'm a big fan of The Witcher books, and the games by CD Projekt Red are very much a wonderful portrayal of that world and those characters. "Wake The White Wolf" perfectly captures the intense nature of the story and Geralt's quest in The Witcher III.
For a fun and catchy beat, there's this tune about the wacky world of Borderlands 2. Perfectly taps into the screwy, Wild West-esque nature of Pandora and the battle-loving insanity of the characters there. XD
Another very catchy tune, this one for the new Spider-Man game that came out this fall. Uplifting, fast-paced, and yet also containing a somewhat bittersweet tone as well, that I feel taps into the heart of Spider-Man's character as a hero who struggles in the face of so much adversity. Very well done.
A surprisingly jazzy and pun-laced song about the nature of the Dark Knight. But definitely quite entertaining for it. XD
The first Miracle of Sound piece I discovered, thanks to my big sister sending it to me. She knew that I was a big fan of Batman and the Joker, and I can't thank her enough for it; I love the dark carnival/pipe-organ feeling to the music, and Dunne does a fairly enjoyable impression of Mark Hamill when he performs this mad melody.
This God of War song is rapidly becoming a favorite of mine. I love the tone of the drums and the beat of the music, it creates a somber and powerful melody, perfectly fitting the story about Kratos' struggle to control his rage and the specter of his past atrocities.
Again, thanks to ShadowLDrago for sharing this one with me. What can I say? This is one kickass metal beat about the Doom Slayer beating the forces of Hell like a cheap drum. Pure awesomeness.
Anyway, those are my top picks. If you liked them, please let me know. If I missed any that you'd like to recommend, please share them in the comments!
“Beating the forces of Hell like a cheap drum” Fuck that’s good. Try his Halfman’s Song, or even Roll Out. Also among my favorites.

Thanks! XD
"Halfman's Song" and "Roll Out". I'll put them on the list. ^_^

Okay, I definitely love Halfman's Song. That's just amazing music right there. Simply incredible
Roll Out is pretty good, but I've only ever been something of a casual Transformers fan. Though I did get a laugh out of "Starscream is an idiot" XD Because that's so true!

Yeah, he tends to not be as smart as he thinks he is. I mean he is smart and a real threat, sometimes, just not as big a one as he thinks.
4972797
Indeed so. He has a bit of power and craft, but not enough to make him as truly dangerous as he THINKS he is.

Though the smarter and more patient the Starscream, the deadlier. Because he isn't as Stupid Evil as his Gen 1 self. Take Transformers Cybertron. He actually successfully overthrew Megatron.
4972805
Well how about that? And how long did he hold onto power?
4972808
Quite a while. He also grew to the size of a Combiner, and eventually Primus. He got his ass kicked by Primus twice, admittedly, but he managed to outlast a BUNCH of Autobots including Prime himself to get to the McGuffin. Starscream is a tenacious bastard.

I can't help but picture the words "tenacious bastard" on his tombstone now, they describe him so well. Guy just keeps going and keeps trying!
4972812
Yup.
4972812
Starscream can be a serious threat when he thinks things through, he just DOESN'T more often than not.

Good way of putting it if I ever heard one.

It's a bad habit of his, he CAN scheme effectively, he just tends to get impatient too fast and ends up panicking when something goes wrong.
