I spent tonight mostly just combing through and updating story plans and such for Pony-Me to factor in current events, new characters, and to set up a working backstory, lore, and conflict for Part 3.
The next chapter will be a short epilogue to Part 2 that gives additional insight to Equestria, but doesn't end the story. Think of it as an epilogue to the ongoing conflict throughout Part 2, rather than one for the entire story.
And that man that appeared at the end of the latest chapter? Hoo boy, he's gonna have a major role in Part 3.
Here's an excerpt from the updated Universal Framework, section Characters, under his short biography.
- Roger Ascher – Zoey’s father, and acting CEO of TechSIG. He took the position by popular vote but was never fully approved by the company itself, even though he has been the effective company leader for nearly three years. He originally worked under Samantha’s R&D division and took her position upon her retirement for a very brief period. The power vacuum left by Argall’s departure months later would lead to him launching an advertising stunt that would convince shareholders to elect him to the position of CEO.
