Help! My Heart is Full of Pony! - The Essence of Luna, II · 7:50pm Nov 15th, 2018

Perhaps the single most telling moment about Princess Luna as a character is a brief line in Royal Problems, when she remarks that the day shift is unbearably hectic, leaving her no time to think. Luna explains that she is accustomed to starting the night shift with quiet reflection - getting her thoughts in order, confronting her private darkness, quieting her inner demons.

That is a task that most of us spend a lifetime trying to avoid. But it's part of her daily routine. Think about that for a minute. As Augustine of Hippo said, "This is the very perfection of a man, to find out his own imperfections.”
