I'm sure that by now most of you have heard the news about Stan Lee. Earlier today, he passed away at age 95. And his loss hits hard for comic fans everywhere, along with Marvel movie-goers. Comic wise, he was one of the people who helped make Marvel Comics into what it is today, with creations like Spider-Man, Hulk, the Fantastic Four, and many more. Movie wise, he was always there to bring a good laugh whenever he appeared on screen. From when I first saw him on the screen for Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, all the way to Avengers: Infinity War.
Whether you're a fan of Marvel or DC, you cannot deny the impact he's had on many people growing up. Whether it be reading the characters and stories on the pages of a comic book, to seeing his creations be brought to life on the Silver Screen and TV.
Many people are going to miss him, me amongst them. And all I can really say to send this off properly is in Stan Lee fashion. "Excelsior."
he was truly a god among men, his legend will live forever
