Trump failing to arrive to ceremony over Rain?

As much as I thought it was fake because of a ceremony he did speak at, I was eventually convinced the original was cancelled because of rain, when several other world leaders were attending. I'm a Trump fan, and because I'm a centrist Libertarian, I'd rather have the truth be out there rather than no one know about it. I don't have much of an opinion other than it was a mistake to make a "rain check" over, well, rain, when he could have spoken at the ceremony.
